WINTER HOURS

Fall/Winter Hours: 
As the seasons change so do our hours, as does our menu. For the Fall/Winter season we will be open 7 days a week for Dinner from 5-10pm; with a new and evolving menu featuring classics from seasons past (with a new twist) as well as original creations.
Additionally, we are open for Brunch Saturday & Sunday from 11am-4:30pm where you'll find the best fries in town served with Brunch favourites both Vegan & Butcher friendly...don't forget we have Donut Monster donuts (all the vegan ones!) here every Saturday morning!! We can't wait to see you soon!!

Butcher and the Vegan is a place to entertain and indulge your senses.  Our artistic streak is evident in our decor as much as it is in our cuisine. All of our suppliers and contributors are hand-picked and within a 100km radius of Hamilton. From our one-off beers to unique live entertainment to our all encompassing yet focused menu, we have a night out for everyone to enjoy.

Vegan. Ethically sourced. Gluten-free. These are just a few of today's common dietary restrictions. But that doesn't mean it's easy to find food that meets those requirements. Except, of course, at Butcher and the Vegan. The Hamilton eatery is the brainchild of James Kayser. The chef and owner wanted to create a restaurant that brought people together. A place where they could enjoy a diverse selection of upscale farm-to-table fare alongside craft beer, inventive cocktails, and local wines. The menu - which changes according to season and availability - celebrates Mother Nature with vegetarian, vegan, seafood, and farm-raised meat dishes from local producers.
